The Menopause Charity works with many companies raising vital funds to help support thousands of women each year. Together we can help make sure everyone has trusted information, advice and support throughout the perimenopause and menopause.

There are so many ways your company can support The Menopause Charity – from making a donation, providing support or fundraising. Working in partnership with The Menopause Charity is a great way to raise vital funds, make a difference and empower your colleagues to talk about menopause.

Many companies encourage their staff to nominate a charity of their choice to receive a one-off donation, or benefit from fundraising events and activities. Check with your company today to see what schemes are available to you, and encourage your colleagues to nominate The Menopause Charity too.

Payroll Giving

If you pay UK tax through PAYE, you can donate through Payroll Giving.  It’s one of the easiest, most tax-efficient ways of supporting The Menopause Charity.

A donation made in this way is taken from your gross pay (before tax is deducted).  This means that for every £10 you give it will only cost you £8 (£6 if you pay the higher tax rate).  It’s costing you less to give, while your help goes further – so more people can understand menopause.

Payroll Giving provides us with a regular income so we can plan our work.  Give through your salary and help make sure everyone affected by menopause can get the treatment and support that’s right for them.

Ask your employer if they already offer Payroll Giving.  If they do, they will arrange your donation through your salary for you.  If they don’t, why not encourage them to set up a scheme?

If you want to change or cancel your donation at any time, all you need to do is let your employer know.

If you are a company looking to set up a Payroll Giving scheme, simply register with an approved Payroll Giving agency.
